KCR Solutions are delighted to be supporting this fantastic client in their search for an Accounts Assistant. This is 9 month FTC to start asap. You will be reporting into the Management Accountant, working within a small finance team, you will be responsible for the processing of invoices as well as journal entries and accounting analysis. Sector: Manufacturing
Your Responsibilities :-
- Responsible for processing of invoices as well as journal entries and accounting analysis.
- Completion and analysis of the daily sales report
- Assist in the completion of the month end accounting pack
- Assist in the preparation of the annual audit pack
- Input of journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist in all budget and business plan submissions
- Assist in the creation of new parts to verify BOMs and costs.
- Complete the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Ensure a safe working environment and excellent housekeeping standards
- Other duties commensurate to the role

It would be beneficial for the candidate to have:-
- A sound understanding and working knowledge of SAP
- Working knowledge of UK regulatory standards, including IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley
- AAT qualification
- A high level of experience and knowledge of basic accounting
- Experience of a similar role within manufacturing
- Experience of working to strict deadlines
