Job Description

KCR Solutions are delighted to be supporting this fantastic client in their search for an Accounts Assistant.   This is 9 month FTC to start asap.  You will be reporting into the Management Accountant, working within a small finance team, you will be responsible for the processing of invoices as well as journal entries and accounting analysis.  Sector: Manufacturing

 

Your Responsibilities :-

  • Responsible for processing of invoices as well as journal entries and accounting analysis. 
  • Completion and analysis of the daily sales report
  • Assist in the completion of the month end accounting pack
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual audit pack
  • Input of journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist in all budget and business plan submissions
  • Assist in the creation of new parts to verify BOMs and costs. 
  • Complete the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Ensure a safe working environment and excellent housekeeping standards
  • Other duties commensurate to the role

It would be beneficial for the candidate to have:-

  • A sound understanding and working knowledge of SAP                                                    
  • Working knowledge of UK regulatory standards, including IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley     
  • AAT qualification
  • A high level of experience and knowledge of basic accounting                                    
  • Experience of a similar role within manufacturing   
  • Experience of working to strict deadlines
