KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant for an excellent client based in Middlesbrough. Reporting to the MD this is a standalone role that would suit someone who is used to a fast-moving, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts and prepare payment runs
- Produce and distribute sales invoices
- Chasing aged debt and resolving invoice queries
- Prepare and process monthly payroll
- Manage holidays and sickness
- Process bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare management accounts to trial balance
- Prepare schedules for external accountants
- Prepare VAT returns and maintain statutory records
- Produce cash‑flow forecasts and monitor working capital
This role will suit someone with previous experience of working for an SME in a standalone role. Knowledge of Sage and Sage Payroll would be a benefit.
